In the laboratory for special analytics and molecular diagnostics, we use a range of analytical methods to test amongst others: hormones, metabolic parameters, vitamine and trace elements, tumor markers, urine proteins and sediment. Using molecular-biological methods, we look for mutations that are associated with certain diseases (e.g. hemochromatosis) or that influence the efficacy or tolerability of certain drugs (pharmacogenetics).
