Department of Gynecology

The Department of Gynecology at the University Hospital Zurich is an international center of competence for gynecology, gynecological oncology and minimally invasive surgery. Diagnosis and treatment in the field of gynecology (incl. breast diseases) are carried out according to modern, international standards. It is our utmost objective to guarantee the best quality possible in medical treatment and human care.

The Department of Gynecology at the University Hospital Zurich offers a full range of subspecialty services that fall within the field of women’s health, from general gynecologic care to complex oncology surgery for gynecologic malignancies. All gynecological surgical procedures are conducted by a highly specialized team working with state-of-the-art equipment.

Breast Center

In the Breast Center, we’re committed to diagnosing all breast changes in a gentle, quick and reliable manner. In addition to various situation-based imaging procedures, we also conduct minimally invasive biopsies. We also provide consultation services and explain possible treatments in detail. We offer genetic consultations for women concerned about hereditary breast cancer.

The Department of Gynecology is associated with the Breast Cancer Center University Hospital Zurich which is certified by EUSOMA (European Society of Breast Cancer Specialists).
