The services offered by the Department of Endocrinology, Diabetology and Clinical Nutrition include the care of outpatients and inpatients with diabetes mellitus, endocrine disorders, overweight / obesity and rare metabolic diseases.

Our special expertise in these diseases is documented by the high patient numbers, the large number of referring physicians as well as significant scientific contributions to improve patient care. The University obesity center Zurich offers a comprehensive and holistic care for patients who suffer from severe obesity and related metabolic diseases. Leading experts from a wide variety of disciplines work closely together to address individual needs and define a customized pathway for each patient. As an academic center we have a unique network both on the national and international level from which we draw on the latest findings and state-of-the-art treatment options.
