Vaccination Service

At the outpatient clinic for Infectious Diseases and Hospital Epidemiology, we offer a vaccination service to prevent infections in patients with an increased risk of complications, including people with long-term health conditions or those who are immunocompromised. We work closely with colleagues from referring clinics and general practitioners to create personalized vaccination plans.

Our offer includes the following services

  • Vaccination recommendations according to the Swiss vaccination plan (a collaboration between the Federal Vaccination Commission (EKIF) and the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH)): Swiss Vaccination Plan 2020 (PDF, as of January 2020)
  • Individualized vaccination recommendations and advice for particularly vulnerable people. This includes people living with HIV infection, drug-induced immunosuppression (due to chronic diseases, neuroimmunological diseases, inflammatory rheumatic autoimmune diseases or following atransplant), and congenital or acquired immunodeficiency
  • Clarification of possible vaccine side effects, documentation in the vaccination certificate, planning of follow-up vaccinations, etc.
