Department of Nuclear Medicine

The Nuclear Medicine Department of the University Hospital of Zurich is one of Europe’s leading nuclear medicine and molecular imaging centers. Since the development and installation of the world’s first hybrid PET/CT scanner in our Department back in 2011, we continue to provide technological leadership and have continuously developed and refined our expertise in hybrid imaging using PET/CT, PET/MR, and SPECT/CT. Our experts are exclusively double board-certified in nuclear medicine and radiology or cardiology, providing state-of-the-art oncological and cardiac imaging while also offering diagnostics in traditional scintigraphic and cross-sectional imaging methods (MR, CT).
