Department of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine
The University Hospital Zurich Department of Consultation-Liaison-Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine stands for innovative psychiatry as a branch of medicine. Working closely with developments in somatic medicine, it has developed concepts for a more progressive understanding of psychiatry, psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy.
The Department is first and foremost a modern comprehensive clinic for psychiatry and psychotherapy and holds a relevant authorisation for postgraduate training. Secondly, it also offers the University Hospital Zurich a variety of specialist services.
We offer specialized and modern treatment concepts for people suffering from mental illness. Our core services are psychotherapy, consultation/liaison psychiatry and psychosomatics. Collaboration with other USZ departments is particularly important. We provide various special consultation options on an outpatient and inpatient basis.
