Department of Traumatology

Our close cooperation with adjoining departments and our efficient intensive care unit enable us to serve patients with multiple and/or severe injuries of all kinds, particularly those with serious concomitant injuries involving damage to the head, chest, abdomen and blood vessels. Staff in the Department of Traumatology are divided into special treatment teams to ensure that each type of injury is taken care of by experts.

We perform joint replacement surgery in injuries to the shoulder and hip joint.

Another team provides follow-up treatment after injuries, rehabilitation and revision surgery.

We have experts trained to deformities, nonunions (pseudoarthrosis), and soft tissue or bone infections.

Our services include advice on professional reintegration to help our patients to come normal active life as quickly as possible.
