Visiting information
Based on the applicable coronavirus pandemic guidelines, the regulations below apply to visits until further notice. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Visiting hours daily from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Registration of your visit to the ward by phone
General obligation to wear masks
- Children under 12 are admitted with a valid, negative COVID test.
- Before entering the patient rooms: personal registration in the ward room.
- In multi-bed rooms, only two visitors are allowed at a time.
Exceptions are made in the Obstetrics Clinic for the number of children accompanied by an adult. - The bistros are available to our patients and visitors outside lunchtime.
Admission only via main entrances
At the moment, only the main entrance at Rämistrasse 100 and the entrance at Frauenklinikstrasse 24, NORD2 building, are open. All other entrances will remain closed until further notice.
Accompanying persons
A maximum of one accompanying person per patient, who must present a COVID certificate..
Important notes (obligation to wear a mask and hand hygiene)
The following rules apply for your personal protection and for the protection of other patients and staff:
- Obligation to wear a mask: surgical masks must be worn within the USZ. You will be given one at the entrance.
- Comply with strict hand hygiene rules: wash your hands thoroughly or disinfect them when you are admitted to hospital, and after coming into contact with other people
and objects in the public sphere. - Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth.
By following these measures, you too can help to prevent COVID-19 from spreading throughout the hospital.
