Ultrasound Research und Translation (ZURT)
The mission of ZURT is the translation of new ultrasound technology from the workbench to the patients. Our vision is to objectivize ultrasound measurements, develop quantitative imaging biomarkers for tissue differentiation, and to improve the reproducibility of elastography measurements. We are a highly interdisciplinary group of clinical and engineering specialists, and work in collaboration with clinics, technical universities and industry in Switzerland and abroad.
