Dr. Oberkofler absolvierte seine chirurgische Ausbildung nach dem Medizin-Studium in Innsbruck (A) und der Approbation in Bologna (I) am Universitätsspital Zürich mit Rotationen in Wil (SG) und Muri (AG). Im Rahmen der akademischen Weiterbildung verbrachte er zweieinhalb Jahre im Labor unter der Leitung von Prof. Clavien und untersuchte neue experimentelle Ansätze zur Milderung von Ischämie-Reperfusionsschäden an abdominalen Organen. Seit Juli 2014 ist er Oberarzt an unserer Klinik und widmet sich klinisch und experimentell in erster Linie der Transplantationschirurgie.
